Yes, the basitar. It's the combination of a guitar and a bass guitar. No, I'm not making this up. It's one of the more ickle known of the instruments. Innovated by Chris Ballew, the frontman of "The Presidents of   the United States of America" or P.U.S.A. (though he gives credit to Mark Sandman for the idea), the basitar is a two-stringed guitar with a top string of .060 gauge tuned to C sharp and a bottom string of .036 gauge tuned to G sharp. As far as I know, P.U.S.A. is the only band that uses this instrument, along with the Guitbass. CJ
