
We have Monsieur Louis Braille to thank for the ingenious system of raised dots which allow the blind to see - a system whose fundamentals he had worked out by |

the time he was fifteen (smart lad that one).
While to most of us, a page in braille just looks like paper with goosebumps, to many more it allows stories to, literally, leap off the page ... opening up whole worlds to those who may have missed them entirely.
