'lil lizard

While their time in the sun as a surf icon was short-lived (I recall owning a pair of board-shorts bearing tiny fluorescent geckos sporting sunglasses), the gecko has earned the honour of being the world's smallest reptile. The Jaragua Gecko, that is. He's a mere 1.6cm long, lives in the Caribbean, and is certainly much more ickle than his graphically-rendered, board-shorts-dwellin' cousins. Well done, Sphaerodactylus ariasae.
