With his twee little blue tophat and funny little spats, Jiminy Cricket may not be the most satorial cartoon character ever drawn, but what he lacks in fashion   smarts he certainly makes up in the old morals department. Tasked with being old Wood-Nose's conscience, Jiminy went one better and became the first Disney feature creature to use the age-old device of the sililoquy to really drive the message home to the audience.
