in return. Miffy, Hello Kitty, Pikachu ... all of 'em kawaii (which translates pretty much straight-forwardly as "cute"). Kawaii guff is big business too - over $US 1 billion in sales and licensing for the aforementioned kitty alone. You'd think that with all that cash it could at least afford a mouth. DP |
