Parenthesis signs are good to use, especially the left. It can help to clarify things (or just add a   gibberish digression that has nothing to do with the real subject) but its best feature is that a note started with this small little sign can grow really long if you forget to close it. It can go on forever. Imagine, an ickle thing like that. NA
