small fish, smaller fish, smallest cardboard box

Appearing anywhere from Henley to Glastonbury, but never once in a Tory think-tank, the 8ft long, 4ft wide and 8ft high box that is the Miniscule of Sound - the niteclub with the world's smallest dance floor and longest guest list (plus a mirror ball and a few flashing lights, of course!) - was conceived in August '98 (The Summer of ..erm..!), in a toilet of a squatted Lido in East London, for a Reclaim The Streets party.
As the ideal festival/ party side-show, the Miniscule of Sound is the 70s, 80s and 90s dance cultures in a box - the perfect antidote to the dark and dodgy side that is corporate clubbing ... you know who you are!

Miniscule promoters - The Mates - said, "We knew when we came up with the idea that we were on to something small." The Mates see the Miniscule as the future for night-clubbing. "We could make it small all over the world," they said.

(The Miniscule of Sound is part of the Continental Drifts group of performance artists - so there!)
