Through the mystics of physics (something I won't even pretend to understand), scientists have inextricably linked two sub-atomic particles - a process known as quantum   entanglement - reports Auntie. Apparently this is a pretty major step towards über fast computing and all that that entails (figure it out for yourselves), with the effects of one particle on the other being described by Einstein as "spooky action at a distance". Something that could baffle old Albert is a force to be reckoned with indeed. DP
