One of the world's great breakfast foods, Rice Bubbles (or Krispies to our foreign chums) have been marketed for years by Messrs Snap, Crackle and Pop and are probably   the only cereal to get children to place their ears within inches of the milk-sodden grain, for that all important rustling effect. The principle behind Rice Bubbles is basically the same as popcorn, but with the addition of more moisture to the rice to get it to pop just so ... a process guaranteed to enliven even the most staid of breakfast times.
