by rabbits, wildfowl and very quiet people who ride bicycles everywhere, since motorised vehicles are gently but firmly verboten. Yet ickler is *Little Sark*, a miniscule peninsula connected by a natural bridge. As a child, I remember standing at the end of this peninsula, closing my eyes, and feeling the world loom large around me.
