It looks as though Miramax's marketing push for "Scream 3" is going to be huge, with the web direction heading along the lines of "The Blair Witch Project". The back-story they've created for
Sunrise Studios (where the ever resilient Sidney works) is massive: apparently the studio's previous films include "Space Psycho" and "There's Something About Carrie"! (I'm thinking RKO for the 21st century here). Also featured are the "Stab" movies, which are based on the events in the first two "Scream" flics: it's all very twisted and meta, trust me.
Not content with that, the Miramax people have even created a hilarious site for Gale Weathers, the trilogy's feisty investigative reporter. Talk about blurring the lines!
