I've opted out of a Risk marathon this evening (now taking place in the living room) ... too much thinking for a Sunday night. Apparently, the game "parallels success in real life" according to this author. I'm not sure about that, but the new PC version looks pretty cool (even though I've always thought that a lot of the game's fun comes from its tactile nature: a computer would basically remove this element, right?).
