The high point of the long weekend just passed had to be the Notting Hill Carnival - an amazing throng of a million plus party-going punters, your humble author included. After doing a large lap of the circuit we ended up at the Sancho Panza sound system where we proceeded to soak up the atmosphere (literally!): it's great to watch a crowd get energised to some funky beats when the heavens open (it happened here this year as well). I'll definitely be back for more of the same in a year's time.
