A friend who's doing some volunteering for BUAV at the moment, alerted me to the "Send A Cow" project. Apparently they used to physically send cows to Africa - sort of a bovine package holiday, strictly self-catering of course, and all in the name of charidee. The official site is under reconstruction at the moment but there are a few snippets of information here. Moo.
