Luke on "Muriel's Wedding": I'm in 100% agreement. It is amazing how many people get shat on in that movie. It comes with the down-under territory I think ... most comedy that emerges from the Antipodes tends to have a darker, more subversive element to it (or at least a few genuinely sobering moments scattered throughout). Which makes you think about things. Which is good.
