A quiet day today - at home working because of the tube strike. By all accounts a shocking day of disruptions right across the capital (let alone for those who were physically assaulted as they tried to get to work - big hugs to Meg!). After living under the now repealed Employment Contracts Act for most of the 1990s, you kind of forget what these things are like.

The weekend was a lot of fun though - still not in top gear after being crook last week but I managed to squeeze in a few drinks at various locations on Saturday night: thanks to Iain for his military-style hospitality - he sure looked the part!
