Today's all-day on-off reading: "Evil takes the stand" - a lengthy review of two books documenting the British libel trial between David Irving and Deborah Lipstadt, the latter having written of the former "[he is] one of the most dangerous spokespersons for Holocaust denial". Quite fascinating from a legal perspective - to defend the claim Lipstadt was forced to prove the truth of her statement, in other words, that there was an event known as the Holocaust which could be subsequently denied. Both accounts look worthy of a read.
