Further discussion from last night: Debate raged when the topic of toasted sandwiches came up. Okay, make a sandwich and grill both sides. What have you got? A toasted sandwich. Fine. But what do you get if you use an electric sandwich maker. You get a toasted sandwich again, my companions said. No, no, I replied. You get a toastie pie. It's a pie because the edges are sealed. Or something. Arguments commenced. And then the Australian piped up with, "No, it's a Jaffle", at which point we killed her.
