In a fascinating move by the BBC, Doctor Who is to be resurrected for a thirty minute, online only broadcast. I have good childhood memories of the Timelord in question (an after-school staple) so it will be interesting to see if these stand up to the test of time - the series were never in New Zealand in the 1990s, so my attachment currently stands at the level of "fond nostaglia". It will also be interesting to see whether the "radio" format itself will work (my suspicion is that it will).
