One hundred and seventy-two episodes later, Star Trek: Voyager comes to a close. Tom and Ralph came over to watch the tape of "Endgame" I'd acquired earlier in the day and all were happy (I think) with the final outcome. Voyager holds a lot of fond memories for me (for various reasons) and it was great to finally see how their journey ended: the bitter and cynical Admiral Janeway meeting her idealistic younger self, burgeoning romances, birthing babies, promotions, time travel, the Borg (including the deliciously lascivious Queen) and finally the looks of stunned disbelief on their faces when the crew realises they've made it home. Priceless.
