"Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), wearing an unisex hairstyle resurrected from the 1970's by America's First Lady Laura Bush, is Jesus Killer Rowling's (and you wonder why she goes by her initials!) homosexual recruitment poster-boy. How do we know he is a depraved homosexual? Well, he's English. Furthermore, when he lives with his dreadful Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia, he sleeps "in the closet." (I never claimed that secular imagery was anymore subtle than our own!) As Harry becomes more attuned to his satanic powers, he comes "out of the closest" and befriends Hagrid (Robbie Coltrane), an old biker "bear" of lascivious intentions."Betty Bowers (America's Best Christian!) reviews Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. With tongue firmly in cheek, of course.

"Look here, woman. I don't know who you think you are, or what kind of ludacris thoughts you have in your mind, but WHY DO YOU CARE?!?! It is a book, for crying out loud. And being judgmental isn't veyr Christian; you are apparently a selective reader of God's Word. He says to love all, and to treat all as you would yourself. He says not to be judgemental. He also says that witchcraft is bad, yes, I see that. But why is this such a controversial book? There are others that are so much worse than Harry Potter...yet noone has made an attempt against those. The book is nothing more than a few fake Latin words and a stick of wood, and everybody is siccing out their crucifixes and saying Hail Mary's over it. Wow, what a powerful woman you must be to stare in the face of God and say you are more just than He. I'm sure you have a delightful little pit of fire reserved with your name on it in Hell. Harry Potter is no more slander than the words your book consists of."

"Worthy words, but Ms Bowers' site is a complete parody (and clearly a particularly convincing one at that ;))."
