The move to leafy Newtown went surprisingly well. Todd had arranged for us to use a big old van for the weekend (lovely boy) so we piled a load in on the Friday then polished off the rest the next day, all in record time. Plus, $18 in diesel is a hell of a lot better on the old bank balance than the $150 or so the movers cost last time. So, here's the view from the new abode (we have a view and a balcony again which is most excellent):

I also managed to jet up to Auckland last weekend for a spot of work on the Friday, then the weekend with Byron and Briar. Very little was done which was sheer bliss ... work has been this side of hellish recently and with no let up until Christmas, a weekend's out-of-town relaxation was just what the medical practitioner ordered.
