There's something inherently funny about celebrities swearing, even though it's in most of their job descriptions. Via Popbitch, you can hear celebrities tell you what their favourite swearword is in what appears to be a promo for Channel 4. Wehhnn-kaaaa indeed. WARNING: Definitely not work-friendly (unless you're a prostitute ... or an etymologist I guess).

I'm back ... Sydney was (as usual) fantastic and life is returning to what passes as normal again. A wonderful sight in the harbour today - a pod of at least 50 dolphins swam right up in full view of the conference we were attending. Our chief exec actually interrupted proceedings so people could rush to the window and have a look. A truly heart-gladdening experience(and quite unprecedented to me) which confirms beyond a shadow of a doubt that I'll only ever be able to live in a city by the sea. Stories from across a wider stretch of ocean to follow soon ...

Greetings from HappyGoldStatuetteLand™! Just a quick post (for surfacing purposes) before I head off tomorrow for a week's well deserved R&R in Sydney town.

Well, the whole of the country is experiencing a delicious post-Oscars glow and how could we not? A clean sweep for the final installment of Mr Jackson's opus has left us well and truly chuffed. It may never be as good as that again but it was great, for at least one night, to hear all those Nu Zullin accents on stage thanking everyone who made it possible. Even Billy Crystal got into the swing of things, observing that there must be no-one left here to thank (I thought of Tom and smiled). Oh, and the ever-acerbic Cintra Wilson's written her most excellent annual review over at Salon, and that's always worth a read.

I shall return presently with trans-Tasman tales of fun, frolics and fermented beverages ... adieu!
