And before he knew it, it was 2005. Spent a great couple of weeks down South - Christmas in Invercargill, then up to North Otago to see the rellies and on to Sumner in Christchurch for several days relaxing near the beach. All good stuff. Settling into work is proving a little harder though, made harder by the fact that the weather finally seems to be coming right ... 'Murphy's First Law of New Zealand Summers' strikes again.
