The talented Ms Cresswell
My good friend Kyla has an exhibition of her wonderful mezzotints on at the moment, entitled "New places we remember". The opening was yesterday and I went along and was thoroughly impressed.

Peony and Pine, 2005
Do head along and see it if you're in Wellington: it's showing at Grodentz in Newtown, Saturdays from 10am to 4pm (or by appointment) until 19 September. Honestly, they're really beautiful ... I was amazed by the textures of them - some like fabric, others like porcelain - all really intricate. Great stuff. There's more of Kyla's work over at kylacresswell.com too, if the above takes your fancy.
